THANKSGIVING FEST 2009

THANKSGIVING FEST 2009

Scout helped make the Apple Salad!

It was fun having Brandon and
his family in town!

Troy and his family recently moved to Temecula California, so it was so fun having them back!

Brett and Travis were home from school.
Always a joy!

After the Turkey Dinner we had our Traditional Thanksgiving Games!

ARI WARMING UP THE GOLDFISH FOR THE GOLDFISH RACES!

I HAD THE FASTEST FISH OF ALL!
SASSY COULD REALLY RACE!!!

The Big boys tried to keep up!

But Zevy could out race them... when he got his fish going the right direction!

These little fish just gave their all... but some fell short of the finish!

WE THEN HAD OUR ARCHERY CONTEST!
(new this year to the games)

Ari and Zev really did good!

TYLER GOT INTO THE FUN OF IT ALSO!

Liam and Jackson both got a BULLSEYE!

SINCE SOME OF THE KIDS HAD THANKSGIVING AT THE INLAWS
WE HAD A THANKSGIVING PARTY THE FOLLOWING DAY!

We started with a SOCK HOP!

It was so cute! Those kids were so willing to learn Grama's dance!

Then we went on a TREASURE HUNT!

They had to find their clue in a Pet Store amongst all the cute bunnies!

They had to search a desert lot for the American Flag where their next clue hid!

Then they had to find their clue in a parking lot

Where the clue was a little higher.

After searching through the playground at Derfelt,
racing mountain boards, and searching Target and McDonalds,
the treasure was found at Chuckey Cheese!

GOOD TIMES!

Afterwards we went home and had a DANCE OFF!
WE COULD HAVE DANCED ALL NIGHT!

Check out these cute kids!!!
Check out Zevy at the end!

I made poodle skirts for the girls for our Dance Off
and Liam was on a Knight kick since visiting Lego Land,
so he was our dancing knight for the night!

Thanksgiving Fest was a success!
I am so grateful that I have all these beautiful children in my life!!!
They are the JOY that keeps me going!
